Grizzly Bear & Bird

These are pictures that I made for my DrawingII class assignment. We were asked to draw grizzly bear and a kind of bird that showed on the screen in front of our class. It was actually a studio assignment (which we made it on class). But because we didn't finish yet, it became a homework. Actually that day I was absent. So I didn't know the assignment. So, I made it 2 hours before the class began. And in a rush, I made it and only took 30 minutes to make them both. And each picture in A3. And that's why the result was not good. I only got 68 for those pictures. Sad. But next time I wish I'll do better.

self visual

that picture was for my DKV 1 assignment, titled self visual. so we are asked to describe ourselves in one kind of picture. first, we were brainstorming, we made a kind of matrix (table) and we wrote everything that really describes ourselves and made it as kind of symbol. and then we share our concept to our lecturer and they gave some advices.
i want to explain the concept of mine. firstly, surely my appearance. my hair is curly and the color is natural brown. and then my glasses. and then the pink thingy actually i want to make it look like book but it doesn't look good enough haha book means i really love reading book and inside the pink thingy there are some random things, looks like word "NAE" haha if you realize it. and why did i make it like that? those kinda childish things because i like reading children books! my favorite author is Jacqueline Wilson (author of The story of tracy beaker, sleep over, lola rose, etc) i like the story and the illustration, the illustration made by Nick Sharratt i love them both! totally great hehe. and why did i color it pink? because i love pink hehe. everytime friends of mine visit my dorm room, first they always say "OMG your room is so pink and red" haha yes mostly my things are pink and red. i don't know why -_- and pink is so me hahahaha
and i used water color for appearance part and book part i used poster color. but i didn't get good score, cause i didn't do my max. and the lecturer said that the sketch was better -_-
