Long time no post here. Have many creations that I haven't upload yet. Will post some artworks soon. Many things happened to me lately. Had a lover, broke up, many assignments, and I just got back from being hospitalized for 7 days because of typhus. Now I am not healthy enough to do stuffs. And by the way, because of some reasons I deactivated my twitter account @NaelaAli and changed it to @NaelaAlita feel free to follow. Thank you :)

This is for illustration design class assignment. We were asked to make an illustration that describes ourselves. And me, who is love to sleep everywhere made it simple. just me sleeping on the sofa that looks so comfortable. And I got my illustration style and that is a good news cause my lecturer said that i have to keep it and I love my style :D

WARPAINT!

Hello, hello. Last 2 August 2011 me & my friend went to Singapore to see Warpaint concert. I was so happy! yihey. Actually it was a sudden plan. I just got back from Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia for holiday and a week later went back to Singapore to watch Warpaint live at Power House at St James Power Station, Singapore. And you know what, they were AWEHSOHM!!! I love Emily's outfit. And even we took photo, and with Jenny Lee too. AND ACTUALLY WITH THERESA too but SHITTY, accidentally I erased it :'( felt so bad!!! and we didnt have chance to take photo with Stella. But that was ahmazing day of mine :)))))

Why DOODLES?

Hello, hello! It's me, in my room, listening to Arctic Monkeys and feeling so confused about my scanner, it didn't work... while so many pictures need to be scanned. Okay, whatever. I want to share a little about my new project. Maybe some of you already heard about DOODLES. Yes, it is me and Baldi Calvianca project.

You know, I love wearing good tees. And I always wanted to make tees with my own pictures. Or stuffs like canvas bag, and others. One night, I dreamed about me, making tees and had my own label. And the day after, my friend, Baldi Calvianca asked me to make a tee project. Like movies or musics tees. Without any doubt, I accepted it and yes, I was so excited!! And why DOODLES? I don't know, we were so confused thinking about the good name for our brand. And Baldi (which was so funny) suggested some random names. Anddd suddenly I remembered "The Art of Getting by" trailer that I just watched the day before, there was a "DOODLES" word that mentioned there so I googled the meaning and taraaa, we decided to use DOODLES as our name.

I always dreamed about people wearing stuffs that I made. People knows my artworks and it must be a great pleasure if they are satisfied with what I did :)

So far, I love working for this project. Baldi, my work mate is such a fun person. He made some jokes and I couldn't stop laughing. And it makes me excited doing this. And sometimes, I was tired but I loved it. And my friends' responses were good. I wish that this project will long live and we can be success. Amen :))

My friend named Feisal Jabbar (we call him Ical) is going to move to Medan cause he got accepted on Faculty of Medicine Universitas Sumatra Utara. He was actually came from Medan which it was his hometown. He used to study on Bina Nusantara University majoring in Information Technic. It's kinda sad for me, but... as a good friend, I am happy knowing my friend is on his way to reach his dream of becoming a doctor. I'm going to miss having dinner together with all of our friends and that moment when we attended Tahiti 80 concert at Bandung haha. Well, wish you all the best, mate! See you very soon, Doctor! :-)
